Novelette about a man who dies of a heart attack but then is suddenly back in college, at it was, repeating his life, so he decides to make changes this time but still dies of a heart attack at the exact same moment, sending him back to college again, but a little later. After many repeats I think I was supposed to learn a lesson, but instead just captivating entertainment.
Sense of familiarity:
the knowledge that I could not place or source and therefore could not trust,
so that it was not knowledge but understanding,
which is not dependent on proof,
and which therefore cannot be refuted.
His voice, its delivery, it was as if the word were in quotation marks, as if it did not refer to the thing itself but its inverse.
