Maria was wonderful and wide-ranging, with so many thoughts on writing, storytelling, games, travel, cultural differences, Chilean society, art and design. And her brother joined us at the end, which surprised me, because I found out later that he and I had been emailing for many years, but I didn’t connect the offline him and online him until after we said goodbye.
