Jerry Young

Born in Taipei. Family moved to Japan for a year when he was 7. But that threw off his education a bit, so at 13 went to Baltimore for a year, then family moved to Hong Kong so he came here. Worked for years in Shanghai, and now reads and invests. We talked all about China, Taiwan, governance, US, and life in Hong Kong. People keep fleeing Hong Kong out of fear of/or change (1997, 2003, 2019) but the fears don't come true.
