He had such a problem on international forms with his long name, trying to shorten it only to be told that it now doesn’t match his passport.
So for his son, short name, international-friendly.
Malays often don’t have a family name but just “Given Names son of Father’s Names”.
Redzuan went to Purdue in Indiana after 2 years of basic college here.
Went with a group of other Malaysians together, graduating Purdue, then worked at Accenture.
23 years ago co-founded company, now stepping out of day-to-day.
His wife is adventurous, and worked in Tanzania and Oman even when pregnant. Boy is age 9 now. Married 10 years ago.
Malaysia is very international: very inclusive of many cultures.
Portuguese, British, Chinese, Indian all mixed here.
