Randy and I have emailed since 2010, since the CD Baby music business days, when he was a musician and producer running a recording studio.
We don’t talk for a few years and what’s he doing? Directing feature films! Wrote and directed the film “Lift” which did quite well, so now he’s doing more.
In 2020 (age 37) he was at an office party and felt sick to his stomach and passed out for five hours then drove home. Then a week later felt the same stomach sickness so he called the hospital right away, and they told him he’d had his second heart attack. Had to do bypass surgery.
He now walks often for exercise and is doing bodyweight exercise, and we talked weightlifting.
Son is 16 now, and plays guitar but makes entire productions by prompting Suno.
