Yusuf Gandhi Putra

Named after his grandfather, Yusuf. But the night before he was born, his parents watched the movie “Gandhi”, so when he was born they decided to give him the middle name Gandhi.

Dad was a civil servant so, growing up, they moved to a new part of Indonesia every two years. Great experience but bad for making friends, so maybe part of the reason he got into computers. Loves programming.

Working for a major telco here, he’s doing infrastructure more than coding now, but uses Omarchy Linux at home.

Brings a little folding split keyboard with him that he’s tricked-out with layers and such so he can type from anywhere. He showed me over dinner.

Other than that we just talked tech, tech, tech, which was wonderful for me.
