Gave me two high-quality prints of his recent work, and asked me to mail one to John Plenge, who introduced us.
His approach to art is making something unique, like adding a third eye to a Picasso drawing, or a second head to Michaelangelo’s David.
The David statue shows the penis of course and he said in the current political climate he could be fined or arrested for showing it on his social media feed.
He lived in New York City for years, studying at the New School.
His daughter is in London and son is in America.
He prays to (or worships) Poseidon and tries to swim in the sea every day.
Trained for years to swim with his painting in his hands across the Bosphorous (the currents being the hardest part) then took that same painting up Mount Ararat.
When I told him I sold my company he said, ”That’s the best thing to sell. Sell a company. I am a big fan of this. Yes, selling a company is great.”
