Kutsal Kocer
Kutsal is a musician, and was one of my CD Baby clients, so I’ve known her for over 20 years.
She came to a party at my house in Los Angeles 18 years ago.
She was in a relationship here in Istanbul when she won the visa lottery to go to America, so her boyfriend quickly proposed so he could come with her.
She moved to LA and cried at first because it was run down.
Found out she was good at sales.
Doing corporate sales for a European logistics company.
They allowed her to work remotely so she moved back here.
Lives in Fenerbahçe now.
Since she was the first Turk I met, I thought more people here would look like her.
She said she has an unusual look here, and as a child the other kids teased her saying she’s Chinese.
