Cem Buğra
Emailed me in 2013 after watching my Uncommon Sense videos, when he was learning more about business.
Co-founder of NO-PACT games. Award-winning video game creators.
He’s been doing this game company with the same co-founders for 15 years, and they have been friends since 1993!
Their website is totally out of date since customers don’t use that.
He does the business side of things.
Their early games were through a middle company like a distributor that paid them up front and took a big cut.
But their newest game is biggest hit - a word game - and that’s direct.
It’s mostly older people in US/UK/AU/CA.
English-only.
He lives just a few blocks away and we walked by his place (a few blocks east of the café) he said on the main strip the revving-engine boys vroom vroom on weekend nights, so avoid living right near that.
He was sick so suggested sitting a bit away from me and facing sideways.
He loved the video game Factorio and said if I play it, it’ll take 1-3 months of my full-time life. (Noted! Do not play.)
