Met 2024-07-08 13:00 at Red Tree House, Culiacán 6, Condesa, Mexico City, Mexico.Worked on cruise ships to travel the world, running the internet café on the ship, then moved to Vancouver Canada with a job in IT. (Met the VP of the company on the cruise ship, which led to him getting hired.)
Cruise ship staff can't go to the passenger area, and have to stay below in crew quarters, and when docking only get two hours' break. Not a great job for most. (He had it good because he was contractor not staff.)
Woke one day with loss of central vision in the right eye (instead of tunnel vision) due to high nearsightedness.
In Vancouver, he did non-profit work to help blind people together with a boss that's been blind since birth.
Lived in 4 countries and visited 13 other countries while working on cruise ships. Now he is back in Mexico City living the Mexican Dream.
Now doing tech/AI consulting services to help small businesses in Mexico, Canada and the US. Especially for the real estate sector.
