Hotel Montevideo: Jose Benito Lamas 2901

Caught a gorgeous early morning ferry boat from Buenos Aires to Montevideo. Some warned me Uruguay would be boring, but I saw that a good thing. Boring places can be wonderfully cozy, safe, and productive. That said, I was surprised the center-city seemed kind of run-down, but two people told me the recent government stopped funding mental health institutes so people who need help instead are out on the street. Still, I like it here.
